Here's a stunning pair of antique Paris France mother of pearl opera glasses by La Corona, made in the late 1880's. 

They measure approximately 4 inches across the base and 2 1/4 inches in height when extended fully; and come in the original black leather and blue silk lined case.

They're in wonderful condition and are hallmarked on the eye pieces with the La Corona name, as well as Paris, and the Whittlesey Cleveland Opticians.  They also are marked on the bridge with the words "Extra Power".  They work perfectly with clear lenses and a smooth flywheel action.
